Our client contacted us wanting to build a state-of-the-art karting complex in a new and busy shopping mall within a heavily popular part of Shanghai, China.
After looking at the location within the mall and helping the client to understand what will be feasible, we agreed that the location is perfect for the size of track expected and allows for both and indoor and outdoor mix for the track. With it being located next door to the local hypermarket and food court it would also have a natural drive of traffic throughout the venue.
The track flows both from the inside area of the unit to the outside tunnel with exhilarating turns and lights to follow the drivers giving an immense entertainment experience.
The Track consists of:
-400 Meters length track
-PSD Barrier System
-Adults Sodi Karts
We developed a concept plan within the given space and themed the venue fully on the client’s hotel vision, colors and logo. We worked around with different track layouts that we produced in order to optimize the space and ensure an enjoyable flow for the track whilst ensuring maximum safety. The colors given were red and brown which we incorporated into the track and facilities general color theming to give a bold yet classy building interior design.
As you can see the completed project turned out to be a success with the venue having a very clean and well finished look as well as giving guests of all ages the ultimate driving experience with a smooth yet exciting track layout which they love to drive and have them keep coming back for more!
