Our client contacted us wanting to re-fit an old karting complex to create a multi-entertainment venue with both a karting kart and a laser tag arena within the city of Nantes, France.
Looking at the venue it was built with barriers using old tyres and a damaged floor which made the venue look outdated, old and rundown. We began work to help envision the end concept of bringing back to life the venue with a new track layout, additional laser tag arena, state-of-the-art equipment and high quality finishings. With it being in the center of a busy industrial area we could see it would have a natural drive of traffic throughout the venue.
The venue consists of a karting track, laser tag arena and a snack bar. The karting track works as a perfect anchor attraction for the venue with it’s flowing and exhilarating turns making it the ultimate driving experience for all ages. With the addition of the laser tag arena and snack bar the activities work simultaneously to offer multiple attractions to a range of ages and audiences.
The Track consists of:
-400 Meters length karting track

-Adults Sodi Karts
We developed a concept plan within the given space and themed the venue fully on the clients’ vision, colors and logo. We worked around with different venue and track layouts that we produced in order to optimize the space and ensure an enjoyable flow for the different activities whilst ensuring ease of operation and maximum safety. The colors given were red and black which we incorporated into the venues facilities general color theming to give a racing yet classy building interior design.
As you can see the completed project turned out to be a success with the venue having a very clean and well finished look as well as giving guests of all ages the ultimate driving experience with a smooth yet exciting track layout which they love to drive and have them keep coming back for more!
